Once again, 30 June has come and gone, and many of you are probably itching to get your tax return done (and hopefully get a refund!)

Following the popularity of our blog post last week on tax planning, we have decided to continue talking tax in this week's edition of 'News and Views'.

It’s human nature to leave things until the last minute (a quick trip to the shops on Christmas Eve would demonstrate that!)  

But like planning a wedding or studying for an exam, when it comes to maximising your tax return, it really does pay to start planning early.
